Wish that we knew in advance that we needed to take a golf car for the room and that we had to call the front desk all the time to leave the room. Very inconvenient , also I thought that the hotel was right on the beach and not across from it.

The views were amazing, especially from the Regency Club. Get a room at club level, the evening food and drinks are worth the additional cost.

The room had several issues which were not addressed to complete resolution. Most notably the electricity (except the AC thank god) went out the last night. We made a maintenance request and it was not resolved.

Location and amenities

Staff was polite, just not really that helpful. Also, the tour services, i would have expected better quality for the prize and hotel status.

The top service doesn't come cheap, sometimes a bit overpriced even for this level of hotel.

My stay at this hotel exceeded expectations. From the moment I arrived, the reception team gave me a warm and professional welcome, making the check-in process smooth and efficient. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding, modern amenities, and a nice attention to detail. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, keeping everything spotless.The breakfast buffet was fresh and offered a wide variety of options to suit different tastes, from local dishes to international selections. The restaurant staff were attentive and ensured a pleasant dining experience.The hotel’s location is very convenient, close to key attractions, shops, and transportation, yet quiet enough to guarantee a peaceful night’s sleep. Facilities such as the gym were well-equipped and easily accessible.What truly made the difference was the staff – always friendly, approachable, and eager to help with recommendations or special requests. Their service created a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at home.Overall, this hotel provides excellent value for money, combining comfort, cleanliness, and top-quality service. I would highly recommend it to both business and leisure travelers and would gladly stay here again

Comfortable beds. Nice room with good hot water and fresh linens. Wonderful staff. Never waited more than a few minutes for a buggy to my room. Casa Boho had great views and food. Massive pool.

Out of town so you need a taxi unless you want to walk 30 mins up/down hill. Pool loungers were never cleaned (always wet and had food stains from previous guests). 80% confident I got food poisoning from the papaya salad at the main restaurant. Most of the activities are an extra cost (even morning tai chi).

I had a very pleasant stay at Hyatt Regency Phuket. Everything was excellent, starting from the warm and professional reception to the overall service provided by the staff, who were consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety and good quality. Overall, the atmosphere, cleanliness, and hospitality made the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The only minor point to mention is that some of the furniture appears slightly dated and could benefit from an update. However, this did not significantly affect the comfort of my stay.

The rooms are comfy, really liked the interior design. Breakfast offers lots of variety. Clean in general.

Nothing about the property itself but I think free shuttle timings to/from the town should be increased especially in the evening.

I enjoyed staying here. I would highly recommend it. I will highlight some things that made our stay memorable. (Breakfast was great, swimming pool was clean and huge, their HOSPITALITY was incredible!) we got sick one day, and they really showed care and humanity! Even they decorated our bed with a flowers and a get well soon letter! I can’t thank them enough for their kindness and support. We also asked for a special dish (cause we were sick) that was not listed on their food menu, and they were happy to make! Overall if you want a comfortable & relaxing stay, this is it.

Only that the beach was public one. And 7/11 store was not near by walking, you have to take a ride for it. Also they offer free shuttle on certain times (which helped).

Staff were more than kind and attentive. I was visiting for my birthday, and they kindly upgraded us to a plunge pool room and prepared a slice of birthday cake. Like some reviewers pointed out, the location is a little remote, but it didn’t make much of a difference since no matter where you go in Phuket, you need to hire a car/taxi. Kamala town is a nice 10-15min walk with at least 4 big supermarkets, massage parlours and local eateries, not to mention the beach and beach clubs. The hotel offers free shuttle there a couple of times per day.I enjoyed having the rooms set on a hill side so that most rooms had a nice ocean view. We would walk down every day and even walk back up after a hearty breakfast or after a swim. It’s very steep, but manageable if you’re in decent shape. We stayed close to the top and the walk is really no more than 5 minutes. The hotel is large enough that despite it being pretty full, it never felt crowded nor did we hear our neighbours.

As much as I enjoyed our stay, there were a few things that really bothered me. For the duration of our stay, it rained every single day, particularly in the evenings. Our room was on the bottom floor (with the plunge pool), and the patio overhangs are covered with thick plastic sheets. When the rain came off the steep rooftop and hit these plastic sheets, it generated sounds so loud it was as if a band was drumming next to us all night long. The sound echoed inside the room louder than the actual rain outside. As a light sleeper, I would wake 3-4 times a night from the incessant drumming, and the pillows over my head did little to drown out the noise. The AC also did very little to alleviate the humidity in the room. The clothes we brought with us were all damp before we even had the chance to wear them. Swimsuits did not dry at all for the duration of our stay. The humidity has done quite a bit of damage to the room, with some of the wooden doors rotting away and in general, my daughter called the place “crusty”, a quality that couldn’t be seen in photos, but definitely obvious in person.

Big room with stunning view of the sea. the lounge is calm and has nice food choices. Pick ups to and from the room are quick.

There is one BIG pool and it's under the sun with no shade at all.

The room experience was outstanding—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The pool was enormous, beautifully maintained, and a real delight to use. The breakfast was the highlight of my stay—lavishly spread, with exceptional quality that easily deserves a 20/10. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist, making the entire experience truly memorable.

There are a couple of areas that could be improved:1. While the hotel is advertised as kid-friendly and does offer several activities, most of them come at an additional cost, which can feel a bit expensive.2. Although the property is located on the beachfront, it’s not directly on a swimmable or sandy beach. The nearest beach, Kamala, is about 1 km away, which can be slightly inconvenient for guests who prefer easy access between the beach and their room.
